Watermelon is a fun if challenging plant to grow in the garden. The wait is long but the reward is sweet! Watermelon likes to be warm so plant it after the chance of frost is gone. Mulch well or plant into landscape fabric to warm the soil.
Blacktail Mountain is an beautiful watermelon with a dark green rind that grows well in short cool seasons like ours.
1 plant per 4 inch pot.
