Kale Seedlings
Kale is a hardy plant, packed with nutrients, that can be put into the ground as soon as its workable. You can harvest it all season by stripping off the leaves but making sure to keep some on the plant so it can continue to produce. It gets sweeter after the frost and can even be harvested all winter.
2 plants per 4 inch pot.
Arun - green curly kale
Scarlet - red curly kale. The colour intensifies as the weather gets colder.
Open-Pollinated
Mamba - tuscan or “dinosaur” kale - some prefer the smooth leaves which are easier to remove from the ribs and slice.
